About Our
Offerings |
|
Your time with us is
all about YOU - your comfort, your lifestyle, and your well being.
We pride ourselves on delivering safe, stylish, and distinctive
offerings that support YOUR special occasion. In short, our focus
in on creating/delivering great experiences for our discerning
clientele. |
|
About Our Clientele |
|
Our clients are
trendsetters, adventurers, romantics, and photo enthusiasts.
They are looking for a balloon ride experience instead of a balloon
ride. They are likely becoming engaged; celebrating a special
engagement, anniversary, or birthday; exchanging their wedding vows
OR just enjoying each other's presence. They are fulfilling a
dream. They are engineers, artists, teachers, college
students, sales persons, corporate executives or business owners.
They seem to enjoy travel, photography, fine dining and (many times)
scuba diving. |
|
About Our Chief Pilot |
|
 |
Our chief pilot was licensed by the FAA as a
single engine fixed wing pilot shortly after his sixteenth birthday. He
then went on to receive FAA ratings to fly gliders, multi-engine
aircraft, and lighter-than-air balloons. He is commercially rated
as a single engine, multi engine, and lighter than air pilot.
And, he enjoys introducing others to the sport and art of ballooning. |

About Our Balloon - "Chameleon" |
|
Texas Air Adventures features a brand new
Lindstrand 105 balloon named "Chameleon", so named because of
her unique coloring which is different from every angle of view.
Chameleon's envelope weighs about 295 pounds (when dry) and flies
with 105,000 cubic feet of air. She is subject to annual "aircraft"
inspections by an FAA certified repair station to ensure that she is air
worthy. |

|
About Our Balloon - "Blew Bayou" |
|
Texas Air Adventures features a Cameron Viva-90 balloon named "Blew
Bayou" in honor of the Bayou City (Houston) that she flies over.
Perhaps it is her
coloring or her unique design, but Blew Bayou is beautiful to watch and to
photograph. In fact, she has graced the cover of Texas Highways
Magazine, was spotlighted in a recent Balloon Federation of America
article, was included in the Albuquerque Visitor's Guide, and again was
featured in the August, 2004 edition of Texas Highways magazine.
The Blew Bayou envelope weighs about 225 pounds (when dry) and flies
with 90,000 cubic feet of air. She is subject to annual "aircraft"
inspections by an FAA certified repair station to ensure that she is air
worthy. |
