Annual LSHABA Hot Air Ballooning Safety Seminar |

|
March.2008 -
March 1, 2008 is the date of the annual hot air ballooning
safety seminar, hosted by the Lone Star Hot Air Balloon
Association. The Safety Seminar will feature presentations
from Don Picard, Rob Schantz, Tom Clutts, Tammy Haynes, and Phil
Bryant and will additionally include panel discussions led by
Austin Young, Joe Reynolds and Dan and Patty Lawlor . TAA's Chief Pilot Dale Tibodeau served as one
of the session organizers and he thus welcomes interested pilots/crew to send
TAA requests for the agenda and registration forms. |

Grand Prize Winner -The Woodlands Showcase of Homes |

January.2008 -
Susan Vreeland-Wendt, Director of Marketing for The Woodlands
Development Company, named Ronna Hardage as the grand prize
winner of a Texas Air Adventures Explorer Balloon Ride for 2
from West Houston. Hardage was one of approximately 15,000
people that participated in the recent Village at Creekside Park
tour of homes and registered for the wonderful give-aways
donated by The Woodlands Development Company. |

Balloonmeister - The Woodlands Balloon Festival |
|
|
|
October.2007 -
TAA was commissioned to host the first ever balloon festival at
The Woodlands, Texas in conjunction with the grand opening of
The Village At Creekside Park. The festival, which was
held October 19-20. 2007 featured the static display of six
beautiful balloons. The very special event also recognized
the 33rd birthday of The Woodlands, a master planned community
that was the vision of George Mitchell. |

October.2007 -
Texas Air Adventures proudly participated in five festivals in
year 2007. Those festivals included Plano, NASA Ballunar,
Amarillo (Pirates of The Canyon), Sugarland and The Woodlands. |

July.2007 -
Dale Tibodeau (TAA's chief pilot) was invited to compete with
the top 50 pilots in the country at the BFA's annual national
competition for the honor of representing the USA at the world
ballooning competition. Tibodeau scored 43rd in the 2007
competition - a feat that we were all quite proud of! |

- Tyler TV Station KLTV featured interviews with two of the TAA junior
balloonist crew
members (Cassidy and Allison) who participated in the BFA's
annual
Summer Balloon Camp held in Tyler, Texas July 16-20. TAA was well represented at the BFA
Ballooning Youth Camp with four

12.2006 - Chris Page,
an IT Consultant turned independent movie producer & director
debuted his first film "Into the Wind" at the Santa Barbara Film
Festival (and then Houston Chronicle Worldfest) to
great reviews.
We could not have been prouder that his documentary film
featured
footage of our beautiful Blew Bayou balloon or that he has

few months, we all witnessed the devastation left by Hurricanes
Katrina and Rita. Amateur radio operators across the
United States have teamed with the Salvation Army to get new
toys to children of the Gulf Coast left in need by nature's
fury.
TAA sent sent
a few of our Hallmark bears (the same ones used in our
Unforgettable Package) to the ARRL toy drive for those in need.

30.2005 - Career
counselor Sylvia Harris thanked the Texas Air Adventures Staff
for their participation in WI Stevenson Middle Schools' 2005 Career
Day.
WI Stevenson Middle
School is an HISD math and science magnet school. Sylvia
organizes the Career Day each year as a way to introduce her
school's middle school students to possible career
opportunities. We appreciated the opportunity to talk to
Sylvia's students about careers in aviation and the benefits and
challenges of owning one's own business. |

Adventures introduced the the newest hot air ride balloon for
commercial passenger rides in the Houston
area in August, 2005. She was named "Chameleon" since her coloration is
different from every viewing perspective. She is an
absolutely beauty and we can't wait for you to see her!

Paul Nering, a volunteer crew member
for Texas Air Adventures, passed away February 12, 2005
after a two-week stay in intensive care at Memorial City
Hospital. Paul will long be remembered for his
quick/dry wit and his love of everything to do with
aviation, but especially his engineering career
supporting NASA's space programs, his service as a
fixed-wing flight instructor, and his presence in the
Houston hot-air balloon community. Our well wishes
extend to his wife (Joan) and daughter (Dale) during
this most difficult time. |

Sharing the Art of
Flying With Potential Future Aeronauts
Texas Air Adventures
served as the feature presentation of the August,2004 Civil Air Patrol
(Thunderbird Composite Squadron) meeting. Our chief pilot
instructed the cadets on the
how-to's of flying a lighter than air aircraft (hot air balloon) and
then gave tethered rides to the entire squadron.

2003 Southwest Flying Club Charity Banquet/Silent Auction held in October. The money raised at this
