Purchase Policies
1.0 General
All customers desiring to ride in a Texas Air
Adventures hot air balloon must truthfully
declare their body weight so that the pilot can
confirm that the total passenger weight is
within the safe limit of the balloon. In
addition, all customers must sign the Texas
Air Adventures consent form prior to their flight.
2.0
Scheduling Policy
Balloon Services will be scheduled on a
first-come, first serve basis based on schedule
availability and the receipt of pre-payment in
full for the Balloon Services.
3.0
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates are good for one year from
date of issuance. Texas Air Adventures
will review requests for replacement of lost or
stolen gift certificates on a case-by-case
basis.
4.0 Payment
Policy
All prices quoted on the website are quoted in
United States dollars. Payment in full is
required at the time of the reservation to
secure the booking. Payment may be via
cash, check, or US issued bank cards
(Master Card, Visa, or American
Express).
5.0
Payment Processing
Credit/debit card information will be taken over the
phone. Credit/debit card orders will be
processed only after the billing address and
other requested billing information has been
accepted by our card processing service.
Occasionally, we receive incorrect billing or
credit/debit card account information for Balloon
Services and that can delay processing,
scheduling commitment, and confirmation.
In this case, a Texas Air Adventures' customer
service agent will attempt to contact you using
the information you provided at the time of the
purchase. If we are unable to correct the
issue within 24 hours, we may cancel your
order and release the schedule date to other
potential customers.
6.0 Formal Confirmation of Balloon
Services Reservation
Electronic confirmations are issued by email
upon receipt of authorization to accept the
charge by the issuing bank card.
7.0
Balloon Services Reschedule Policy
Balloon Services Reschedule Request (initiated
by TAA):
The Balloon Services
date/time will be moved to another mutually
agreeable Balloon Services date/time (at no
charge to the customer) based on weather related
flying restrictions, pilot
health, photographer health, family emergency, or the balloon's state of
air-worthiness.
Balloon Services Reschedule Request (Initiated
by Customer): Customers may request to
reschedule their balloon services date (within a
period of one year from their original ride
purchase date) subject to a reschedule charge of
$250 if the originally scheduled date cannot be
reconfirmed for another paying customer.
If the released booking date/time is rebooked by
another paying customer, there will be no
reschedule charge.
8.0 Balloon Services Cancellation Policy
There will be no refund or reschedule for
customer no-shows. If there is a no-show
for a customer using a gift certificate, the
gift certificate will be considered "used" and
thereby null and void.
Customer initiated booking cancellation requests
will result in the full forfeit of all fees
paid.
Rides not scheduled or rescheduled within one
year from booking date will also be considered
cancelled and will thereby result in forfeiture
of fees paid.
9.0 How We Use Your Financial Information
We will use your provided financial information
to check your qualifications, as related to
processing the sales transaction. We may
provide your financial information to your
credit card issuer, financial institution, or
credit card processors to process transactions.
We may disclose specific financial information
when we determine that such disclosure is
necessary to comply with law, to cooperate or
seek assistance from law enforcement, or to
protect the interests or safety of Texas Air
Adventures, LLC or other visitors to our website
or users of services provided by Texas Air
Adventures. Also, your financial
information may be passed on to a third party in
the event of a transfer of ownership or assets
of Texas Air Adventures, LLC. Texas Air
Adventures, LLC will not be responsible of
otherwise liable for any use or disclosure of
your financial information by a third party to
whom Texas Air Adventures, LLC is allowed to
disclose your financial information to under
this privacy policy.
